ADA Guide to Closing a Dental Office

The financial considerations of retirement can be overwhelming.  ADA has publications and tips for the retiring dentist.  The following link will take you to ADA Retirement Tools

ADA Life Members* who retire in good standing and submit a retirement affidavit will receive free membership for life, effective the calendar year following the fulfillment of these requirement.  If you have not achieved Life Member status upon retirement, your dues will be billed annually at a greatly reduced rate until you achieve your ADA Life status.  The year following this milestone, your dues requirements will cease and you will be an ADA Retired Life Member for life.

ADA Life* membership is available when a member has been in good standing for 30 consecutive years, or 40 total years and reaches age 65. Life membership is effective the calendar year following the year in which these requirements are fulfilled.

Once retired, you may wish to contact the ADA and KDA if you desire to continue receiving hard copies of their publications at a special retired member rate. Please click the following link to find out more about ADA Publications.  Please contact Melissa at KDA melissa@kyda.org to continue receiving the KDA Today journal.  You may view KDA Today journals on-line through the KDA Website.
